Eating healthy for cheap

I am on a *very tight* budget. I am looking for new foods that are cheap and last for more than a serving or two. For personal reasons, I don’t eat dried beans or red meat.

At the moment, my diet consists mostly of the following -

Oats

Eggs

Apples

Oranges

Lettuce

Tomatoes

Dannon Light and Fit Yogurt

Tuna

Whole wheat bread

Multigrain saltines

canned greenbeans, carrots and spinach

boneless, skinless chicken breast strips

Any other cheap suggestions?

Hugs

Michelle

What about carrots and cucumbers or going to a local market for some cheap berries.

    Hi,

Love your site!!!! Our health is very important without it we have nothing. It is our greatest asset. We need to stay stress free, exercise, eat healthy, drink plenty of water and pray for a healthy lifestyle and well-being.
